The department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is a major pillar in the modern Qassim University - college of medicine. It provides basic knowledge of diseases and plays a major role in developing and enriching of our medical students understanding of diseases.

The department is committed to the clinical role too by covering all fields of laboratory medicine to provide the efficient and effective laboratory services to the university outpatients clinics and planning to extend the range of tests in the near future for the upcoming university hospital.

“Medicine is Pathology” this is a fact which makes the field of pathology and all its diverse disciplines enriched with research project with major collaboration in-between the units and other medical departments.
